Become a Puerto Rican chef for a day with the most interactive, hands-on class in San Juan. You might not have grown up with a Puerto Rican mother stewing rice and beans or flattening plantains to make tostones in the kitchen for dinner, but that doesn't mean you can't make your mofongo and eat it, too! With this class you will learn first-hand from a local professional chef how to make our staple dishes such as mofongo, mojitos and more! Ask for an add on "rum tasting course" and taste aged Puerto Rican rums while learning their differences and various characteristics. Leave the island with cooking and rum skills!

COOKING CLASS TERMS
Must be 18 or older to drink alcohol in Puerto Rico. Non-alcoholic substitutes available.
Children: We allow children in the private class. Kids 10 and under may participate in the class FREE of charge. However, food/drinks (aside from water) in the class are NOT provided to children 10 and under. If they child is under 10 yeas and wishes to participate in the class they must pay the full ticket price. Children 11 and older must pay full ticket price and are given adult portions and non alcoholic beverage options.
Allergies/Vegetarian/Non alcoholic: Flavors can accommodate people with various dietary restrictions but we must know at least 1 day BEFORE the class date so we can alert the chef to those needs. If we are NOT alerted at least 1 day in advance of the class we cannot promise those needs will be met.
Being On time: Our classes, private and general, start promptly at the hour agreed upon. If a group is more than 10 minutes late the group risks having the class cancelled and forfeiting a refund. PLAN ACCORDINGLY AND ARRIVE EARLY.
Cancellation Policy: Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded or rescheduled because your space is being held in the class. Our classes often sell out. No partial credits or rescheduling is allowed for partial attendance, no shows, or late arrivals. In the extremely rare event that the class has to be canceled (tropical storm, hurricane), you will be able to reschedule to another time, receive credit for a future event, or receive a full refund.
